John Vincent SLATTERY was my great-grandfather and in April 1910 was living at 82 Hoffman Street in Kingston, NY as the head of the household caring for his siblings Mary SLATTERY (age 24), James SLATTERY (age 18) and Julia SLATTERY (age 16). John was 21 years old and working as a fireman for the railroad. James SLATTERY was working as a laborer for the water works.
