  One of the primary reasons people use uencounter.me is to share information with others. For example, users may create encounter points based on activities or interactions with others at a specific place and time, post details pertaining to that interaction, or encounter, and share with other users or post for open community access. If you are uncomfortable sharing your personal encounter information, you should not post it or you should delete this information. Information posted by you on uencounter.me is open to users you are linked to and other registered users of uencounter.me; unless marked private by user. Encounterpoints entered on the map may be marked "private" and will then be available only to the user who entered the information. Pins designated as "private" will never be offered for viewing or sharing by another user. Registered users may also copy, forward, or save information which may be shared outside of the uencounter.me community. By using uencounter.me, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Users should exercise care in the level of information provided.

  Uencounter.me will periodically initiate emails to users to provide notice of activity related to one or more of your encounter points, inquiries, and/or encountergrams. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to notify you about related uencounter.me postings, tell you about special offers, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

All financial transactions are processed through a third-party processor who was selected for their secure and rigid privacy practices. Any information entered for the purpose of completing an upgraded membership is used for billing purposes only. If we have trouble processing a purchase, we'll use the information you provided at registration to contact you.

• Cookies

  We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site.
