The location for my great-grandfather John Vincent SLATTERY listed on the 1930 Census is "Railroad House - New Road" in the village of Maybrook, Orange County, New York. A few lines up from his listing is "Neelytown Road" so I selected an area on the map where Neelytown Road comes closest to where the railroad tracks were.

John Vincent SLATTERY was 41 years old in 1930 and living with his wife Loretta KROM (age 38) and children Gerald A. SLATTERY (age 12), Marie T. SLATTERY (age 11) and Loretta M. SLATTERY (age 9) who was my grandmother.  John's occupation is listed as a brakeman for the railroad. The SLATTERY family rented the home for $14 per month.
