Door County, Wisonsin is located on a peninsual which juts out into Lake Michigan and is a gorgeous area. We were there in February when there was deep snow and had a great time snowshoeing. If you are in the Destin area and you are a shopper, this is the place to be. There are many choices of places to stay at the Watercolor Resort, including the beautiful inn. Forget about hotels when you are visiting Sedona and stay at one of the "creekhouses" at Junipine Resort. Save money because you can cook in the lovely kitchens and enjoy the fireplaces and the great views from your balcony.
